The Heartstart Paediatric AED Pads Connector is compatible with: The Heartstart FR2, Heartstart FR2 (+), Heartstart FR3, Heartstream Forerunner, Heartstart MRx, Heartstart XL, Heartstart XL+

These pads are energy-reducing and therefore safe to use with an AED on a child under 8 years old.

Please be certain you are ordering the correct pads for your machine. Please feel free to call for advice and confirmation.

If you are ordering paediatric pads for a defib with the ability to select energy settings you must order basic paediatric electrodes which fortunately are cheaper and don’t automatically reduce the delivered energy. In these cases, it is the operator who retains control of energy selection over the defibrillator.
