Standard fabric plasters are a basic, good adhesive plasters for those that just want plasters in their first aid box for minor cuts and wounds. The plasters come in boxes of 100 in several square and rectangle sizes or the butterfly shaped Fingertip Plasters or the H shaped Knuckle Plasters. The most popular size is the 7cm x 2.5cm rectangle shape, followed closely by the 5 type assortment that contains a quantity of all sizes: 4cm x 4cm, 7cm x 2.5cm, 7cm x 5cm, Fingertip and Knuckle fabric plasters.
 
It makes good sense to keep a few shapes of plasters in a home first aid kit. Preparedness is one of the best ways to take care of wounds at home, even if they wound will need medical attention shortly thereafter. Smaller plasters can be used on small cuts and to cover small areas of the body. Larger plasters can be used to cover large areas or large wounds. It is important, however, to have all serious wounds treated by a medical professional.
